The Plan
Starting from the piazzetta, you'll go up to the mount discovering a more authentic side of Portofino. Once you arrive at the entrance of the farm, you'll meet your guide who will take you through the vineyards and the honey and butterfly trail. Finally, in the most beautiful panoramic spot with breathtaking sea views, you'll have a tasting with delicious local products, including their honey and olive oil.
The Place
This Eco-farm is a renewable and self-sustainable farm; they describe it as a “park within the park". The farm is located in the heart of Portofino’s Park, overlooking the Cala degli Inglesi (English Bay). Up until recent times, the hub of Portofino’s life had been the mount and its farms, instead of the seaside and the now glitzy and famous Piazzetta.Today the ambition of their project is to redevelop abandoned areas of the Portofino Park, paying particular attention to sustainability and the wellbeing of the environment.
