The last week of August might be the most exciting art week in Copenhagen - all the galleries are opening with elaborate shows after the summer break, and on top of that, the city is filled with international art aficionados due to the Chart and Enter Art Fair.
Malin Ebbing, art writer and fine art professional, will introduce you to several of the most exciting artists on the contemporary art scene. These artists' works will be presented to you by two different gallery directors and in the presence of one of the artists, all based in the vibrant Vesterbro area in Copenhagen.
Be ready for an art experience out of the ordinary, where we will start with a viewing of large-scale paintings by a New York-based artist in a stunning art space (which used to be a lighthouse), followed by a visit to an artist’s studio, where the artist herself will talk about her work and how she capture her dreamlike expression through different type of mediums. We will conclude the tour with an Aperitivo in a nearby gallery, where a duo show with two Copenhagen-based artists will be presented to us by the gallery director.
