Sextantio

Located in the Appenine mountains in the Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga National Park, Sextantio Albergo Diffuso is a culturally historical project born out of the desire to give new life to forgotten places in Italy and the people of Abruzzo. This hotel in a restored medieval building features authentic interiors with rustic rooms with wood ceilings and stone walls, inspired by pictures Paul Scheuermeier, a Swiss linguist, took in Abruzzo in the 20s of twentieth century. At Sextantio they aim at recreating the traditions of a medieval village and a magical atmosphere.
